Our Core Values
We value our relationship with our Lord Jesus Christ above all else, knowing that we are saved by grace through faith in Him, and desiring to walk in full surrender and obedience to His perfect will (Ephesians 2:8-9, Romans 12:1-2).
We value the meditation, reading and study of the Bible, recognising that it is the inspired word of God from Genesis to Revelation, and that these Scriptures make us wise about salvation, pointing us to our Lord Jesus Christ so that by faith in Him we might have life through His Name (2 Timothy 3:16, John 5:39 and John 20:31).
We value the presence and power of the Holy Spirit in our lives and desire to walk in full submission to Him, knowing that through His presence and fullness we are empowered to serve and give testimony to the saving power of our Lord Jesus Christ, becoming His witnesses (Acts 1:8, Acts 4:31, and 1 Thessalonians 1:4-5 and 2 Timothy 1:6-8).
We value the power of prayer, knowing that our Lord Jesus Christ has all authority in heaven and in earth, that he is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him and that He is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we can ask or even imagine (Matthew 28:18, Hebrews 11:6, Ephesians 3:20, James 5:16 and Psalm 133).
We value a pure and holy lifestyle of worship to God, desiring to love God with all our heart, mind, soul and strength, and also our neighbour as our self, as we dedicate ourselves wholly to Him (Hebrews 12:14, Hebrews 13:4-5, Mark 12:30, Romans 12:1-2, Ephesians 5:19-21 and Colossians 3:15-17).
We value people of every age, race, language and culture and will seek to build a community under the Lordship of Jesus Christ that brings friendship and love to all, that bridges every generational, racial and cultural divide. (Revelations 5:9-10)
We value our unity, knowing that we are encouraged to make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace: that
unity is to be highly prized because where brethren dwell together in unity the Lord bestows - indeed, commands blessing.
(Ephesians 4:1-4 and Psalm 133).
